We were able to get a few Easter crafts done this year and I
was able to find many more that I want to try out next year
Peek a Boo Chick
The girls had a lot of fun with this as I let them dump out
all of our foam stickers and go to town!
Potato Stamping
The potato stamping turned out better than I thought and I
am now excited to try out some new patterns for another craft or maybe some
homemade wrapping paper.
Paper Strip Easter Egg Art
This turned out really cute and was really good for many
ages. The girls had some friends over and we had a good age mix – 7, 5, 4, and
3 – and everyone seemed to have fun!
Marbled Easter Eggs
We enjoyed these but the colors
didn’t turn out as vibrant as I had hoped.
There are so many egg-dying ideas out there that I think we’ll try
something new next year.
We also put some stickers on the rest
of the eggs before dying – which was the girls’ favorite part. My original plan was to eventually remove the
stickers, which I did on a few eggs, but the stickers looked so fun and festive
that we kept most of them on.
We also got to decorate eggs on Easter with some friends and I loved how these turned out!
Animal Resist Painting
This was a really cute and simple idea that the girls really
had fun with.
Happy Belated Easter from the Stephan Girls!
